HAFR AL-BATEN, 15 September 2005 — Businessmen from Hafr Al-Baten in the north of Saudi Arabia, are considering establishing a new cement company with total investment of SR200 million, Al-Yaum newspaper reported. Forty percent of the capital money will be financed from the founding partners and 60 percent will be put for public underwriting. The project aims at covering the shortage in the cement market.
