SYSTIMAX Solutions announced the appointment of Dominic Morris as the company’s new regional sales director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Morris, who replaces former Sales Director Darren Stratton, will be responsible for SYSTIMAX Solutions’ business operations within the MENA region.
Morris will predominantly focus on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. He will also oversee efforts to increase the company’s market share within the Levant, Jordan and Egypt while evaluating opportunities in emerging markets within the wider Middle East and North Africa.
Commenting on the appointment, Dieter Bodingbauer, managing director for SYSTIMAX Solutions, Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “Dominic is thoroughly familiar with SYSTIMAX Solutions, bringing a deep technical and commercial understanding of our business to his new role. He has had considerable success driving our Saudi-based operations and I expect he will replicate this on a regional level. I have no doubts Dominic’s efforts will further strengthen our position as the structured cabling solution provider of choice within the region.”
Morris brings a wealth of industry and regional experience to his new role, having previously headed up SYSTIMAX Solutions’ business in Saudi Arabia for the last two years. He played a central role in transitioning the company’s ownership from Avaya to CommScope within the Kingdom and has been instrumental in the re-development of SYSTIMAX Solutions’ sales channel within Saudi Arabia.
