Sify Limited, a leading Indian Internet, network and e-commerce services company, has appointed Surya Mantha to head its Interactive Services business. As Senior VP Interactive Services, Mantha will spearhead Sify’s portal business and direct new initiatives aimed at increasing revenues and market share.
Before joining Sify, Mantha spent several years at RealNetworks in Seattle WA, USA, in several marketing and management roles including GM of Broadband Solutions, GM of Evangelism and GM Solutions and Business Operations for the Real Broadcast Network (RBN), Real’s Content Delivery Network.
Mantha has a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, a Ph.D. in ComputerScience from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City and an MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester, NY.
