DUBAI, 21 September 2005 — BMG Financial Advisors has announced a mandate from WorldCare, a global health care company, to raise the financing for a major hotel and health center to be built in Dubai. “BMG has been retained to structure and raise equity and debt financing,” Nasser Menhall, CEO, WorldCare Ltd., said. The SR500 million project will incorporate the highly successful programs at Duke Center for Living. Diagnostic opinions and treatment plans will be provided by Duke Center and Partners Health Care System Inc. which itself is made up of the largest teaching hospitals of Harvard medical school, which are Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

The center will utilize the latest medical technologies, and comprises an advanced diagnostic center, a 300-room and suite hotel, and an exercise and dietary education center.

It will be structured, managed, and based on US standards of medical excellence. This means all the senior staff will be qualified & trained in the United States. All the physician opinions will come from the US utilizing sophisticated telemedicine systems and videoconferencing facilities.

With published statistics that show that diseases resulting from excess weight are affecting over 80 percent of the UAE residents, Basil Al-Ghalayini, CEO of BMG Financial Advisors Group, believes that this is a timely project to address a needed service for the region. This was the main reason explaining the concept behind this project.
