RIYADH, 22 September 2005 — An innovative three-in-one deal for providing a villa with furniture and car has been launched for Saudis and expatriates by the Al-Mahdi Holding Group.
The venue of the event, the first of its kind, is the open ground facing Oleya Main Road. An exhibition is also being held on the sidelines of the event for two weeks. On view is a mock-up of villas amid picturesque surroundings, along with cars parked in each one of them. There are eight to ten different types of programs with a varying cost component. All the packages provide for a fully furnished villa with a car. An interesting aspect of the scheme is that besides one-, two- and three-story villas, there is also a one-and-a-half story villa. The idea is to give option to the owner to utilize the half floor according to his own concept. He could even go for a swimming pool in that space and enjoy the splash in privacy with his family.
The moving force behind the show is Hassan M. Al-Mahdi, executive president of the Al-Mahdi Group, who shot into limelight late last year as a candidate in the Riyadh municipal elections. There was a big turnout of Saudis at the venue, where they watched a laser show on a screen and listened to speeches from speakers on the highlights of the scheme.
