JEDDAH, 22 September 2005 — Saudi Arabia’s Amiantit Company announced that its factory located in the state of Louisiana was not damaged by Hurricane Katrina. An Amiantit manager said as the factory was on high ground, Katrina and the resulting floods in parts of Louisiana did not affect the factory, though its surrounding areas were damaged. Amiantit will fix the damages when time permits
