BHOPAL, 25 September 2005 — The Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Madhya Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister Babulal Gaur has accepted the recommendations of a specially set up Cabinet subcommittee and decided to pay gratuity and approved several other demands of the teachers who have been agitating for improvement in their service conditions. Madhya Pradesh Minister for School Education Dr. Gauri Shankar Shejwar made this announcement at a press conference here on Friday. He said that 15 of the 21 demands of the teachers had been met.
