The Middle East Broadcasting Centre (MBC), a regional TV channel, announced that its 2005 season after Ramadan will feature ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ 2005 program with George Kordahi as presenter. The program has new elements designed to make the program even more exciting for Arab viewers. “We’ve a very entertaining and exciting program presented with new improved features. With this winning formula, we’re very confident that the program will be an even bigger success,” said Mohammed Al Mulhem, group director of marketing, PR & Commercial, at MBC. George Kordahi expressed his delight in presenting the program for the second time. “I’m proud to be associated with such a highly successful program on MBC,” said Kordahi. “Programs that are rich in information require a certain personality to be able to reach people’s minds and make them interact with the program. As I enjoy reading and researching, I feel that this program really does suit my personality. I’m keen to collaborate with MBC to ensure the success of the program,” he said. “When we were offered to broadcast the new formula for ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire,’ we did not hesitate because both the program and the presenter already have a huge following in the region. MBC is a first class broadcaster and it reinforces our reputation to show one of the world’s most popular programs,” Mulhem said.
