Cognos, a leader in business intelligence (BI), and corporate performance management, has signed a multi-year agreement with the Boeing Company. The global manufacturer will use Cognos’ enterprise business intelligence solution, including Cognos ReportNet, to provide common business reporting. The Cognos solution, part of an enterprisewide BI initiative, will be utilized within Boeing commercial airplanes, integrated defense systems, shared services group, and Connexion by BoeingSM. The Boeing Company provides products and services to customers in 145 countries and is the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners.
