JEDDAH, 30 September 2005 — The Women Welfare Society has postponed its first annual dates festival that was to take place at the Equestrian Club tomorrow.
“We did not get the permission from the municipality so we have to wait and set another date,” said Huda Al-Khudari, director of public relations at the society. The fund-raising event will feature a variety of dates from the best stores in the Kingdom as well as sweets and bakhur (frankincense) of the highest quality.
