MAKKAH, 2 October 2005 — Grand Makkah group for hotels recently opened its latest hotel in Makkah as part of the group’s strategy to expand, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. Chairman of the group, Hussein Bayari, said that the hotel was part of a chain of hotels that will soon open in the Kingdom. Grand Makkah Hotel, classified as five-star, is closest to the Holy Mosque with total investment of SR40 million.
