MANAMA, 4 October 2005 — Bahrain-based global investment bank Investcorp said on Sunday it would launch a new fund of hedge funds with US fund manager Cura Capital Management. The new fund, Investcorp Fixed Income Relative Value Fund, is the bank’s first partnership with the New York-based Cura which manages assets worth $190 million, an Investcorp statement said, giving no further details. The statement said Investcorp’s hedge funds business now manages assets worth $3.7 billion, of which client assets account for $2.2 billion. The bank’s proprietary investment makes up the rest.
