DAMMAM, 6 October 2005 — International Indian School-Dammam (IISD) celebrated its 23rd anniversary last week.
Indian Ambassador M.O.H. Farook, who was the chief guest, congratulated the students, parents, staff, managing committee and principal for their achievements and urged them to endeavor to keep up the standards.
School Managing Committee chairman Abdulla Manjeri, who presided, spoke about the resolve to enhance and improve the sports facilities and academic environment. He also announced the implementation of a revised pay structure for the staff.
The ambassador presented academic awards and gold honor rolls to150 high achievers of classes 10 and 12. First three toppers of Grade 12 — Sangeetha Merrin Varghese (science), Haya Mohammed Ismail (commerce) and Jolin Joseph (arts), and different subject toppers were presented mementos.
