Saudi-based Obeikan Research and Development (ORD) has tied up with Intel to develop an e-Learning portal using Intel’s School Learning Software, called “skoool” to support the education curriculum in Saudi Arabia. ORD is part of Obeiken Investment Group (OIG).
Skoool is an Intel driven e-learning initiative focused on math and science curriculum for secondary school children. It includes a wide range of interactive educational resources that aims to complement students’ schoolwork and home study by showing them how to save time, improve their academic performance, reduce stress levels and achieve their goals. The software leverages the expertise of top teachers and is developed based on identified areas of difficulty in these subjects. The content can be used both in schools as a teacher guided learning exercise and at home as a free personal tutor for help with general understanding, homework and revision.
ORD will translate and localize content. The software will be ready to download, free of charge, shortly.

Obeikan has recently signed a contract with Education Ministries in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain to develop Math and Science for Grades 1-12.
