JEDDAH, 13 October 2005 — A court in Baha sentenced two Pakistani farm workers to a total of 7,000 lashes and nine years in prison for growing hashish, Al-Madinah newspaper reported.
The men had planted 270 hashish seedlings, and were reported by the owner of the farm who noticed that they were giving attention to the group of plants.
