JEDDAH, 13 October 2005 — The National Shrimp Company signed a SR25 million contract to buy 9 trailers with the capacity of 36 tons to carryout the second stage of the company project. The general manager of the company, Ahmad Al-Bala, said that the second stage of the company project would expand the company to 6000 hectares and will increase the production by 30,000 tons of shrimps a year. This increase in production will meet all the demands of the local market and will increase the company’s export potential.
