This October, Showtime is paying tribute to Leonardo DiCaprio and showcasing some of his greatest movies like the Aviator, Catch Me If You Can, and Romeo & Juliet, all of which are great examples of why MTV has named him “best male” in the 2005 MTV Movie Awards. The Aviator, directed by Martin Scorsese and winner of five Academy Awards, four BAFTA’s, and two Golden Globes, is a dramatic biography of eccentric aviation pioneer, movie producer and womanizing tycoon, Howard Hughes. Leonardo DiCaptrio plays one of the most challenging roles of his career in this must-see movie. The Aviator tells the story of pioneering all-American hero Howard Hughes, an eccentric billionaire industrialist and Hollywood film mogul. The Aviator is already on Home Cinema channels 1-3 every hour and its last showing is today (Oct. 13). It will be on channel 4 every three hours from tomorrow (Oct. 14) to Oct. 20. Catch Me If You Can is based on a true story and directed by Steven Spielberg, which is on the Movie Channel 2 at 9 p.m. on Oct. 25. Australian director Baz Luhrmann’s cast Leonardo in Romeo & Juliet, notable as Leo’s first bona fide hit, is showing on The Movie Channel 2 at 9 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 15)
