JEDDAH, 21 October 2005 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, who is also the president of King Abdullah ibn Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing and Development, has approved the Al-Naba Village housing project for the poor and needy. The project will benefit people in the area, which is in Madinah region.
Dr. Yousef A. Othaimeen, secretary-general of the foundation, said the project is ready to accommodate people who need housing. The foundation will make sure that those applying are needy people before they hand over the houses.
Madinah Governor Prince Muqrin will inaugurate the project next Tuesday. The project costing SR40 million consists of 188 housing units.
Dr. Othaimeen said that the housing units were fully equipped and furnished with all facilities. The project has all utilities, mosques, schools, health centers and hospitals.
