Jeddah-based Modern Products Company (MPC) is to raise SR1 million for Special Olympics MENA from sales of its leading brands. The funds raised by the month long “Create heroes” campaign will help support the charity organization’s work to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for intellectually disabled Arab children and adults. “MPC is committed to helping those with special needs and we work closely with government and non-government institutions to effectively reach and contribute to this important segment in society,” said MPC Country Manager Nidal Jamjoom. “The campaign with Special Olympics is a social program designed to help fulfill the dreams of people with intellectual disabilities,” he said. The campaign was launched on Oct. 20 and will run through Nov. 20 across the Kingdom’s selected stores. Al Othaim, Panda, Geant, Carrefour and Giant stores have the opportunity to participate in the campaign, helping to improve the lives of thousands of intellectually disabled individuals. “
