RIYADH, 29 October 2005 — The Food Products Company has submitted a request to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to approve reducing its capital from SR200 to SR100 therefore reducing the number of shares from 4 million to 2 million. This reduction is to be effective at the end of the extraordinary general assembly day. With the issuance of the company’s preliminary financial reports of the third quarter ending Sept. 30, 2005 and its clearance from any auditory reservations for all previous years, the CMA board approved the company’s request.
