JEDDAH, 30 October 2005 — Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri arrived here yesterday on aofficial visit to the Kingdom. He was received at the airport by senior Saudi officials. Pakistan’s Ambassador Abdul Aziz Mirza, Consul General Masood Akhtar and Deputy Head of Mission Hasan Raza also received the minister, said a press release. Kasuri is accompanied by Foreign Ministry Office’s Khalid Mahmoud, director general, and Syed Sajjad Haider, director. Kasuri will hold important meetings with the Saudi leadership and discuss bilateral and regional issues. Kasuri will also brief the Saudi leadership on the current situation prevailing after the earthquake that hit Pakistan on Oct. 8. After his arrival, Kasuri directly went to Makkah to perform Umrah.
