MADINAH, 30 October 2005 — The Madinah Chamber of Commerce will open a businesswomen’s center in mid-November, reported Okaz newspaper. Nisreen Qattan has been nominated as the director for the center. Dr. Luai Al-Tayyar, chairman of the chamber, said that the women’s center is a step toward activating businesswomen’s participation and will play a role in development and training of women and conducting research and investment awareness.
