JEDDAH, 1 November 2005 — Jeddah Municipality decided to study 160,000 applications for residential grants submitted in 1418h (1997), reported Al-Madinah newspaper. Dr. Mohammed Al-Jifri, lands’ supervisor at the municipality said that the applications would be forwarded to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs after they were studied and reduced in number. Meanwhile, Jeddah Municipality is expected to complete the distribution of five batches of grants next month.
