RIYADH, 1 November 2005 — Dr. Mohammed Al-Suwaiel, governor of Communication and Information Technology Authority, which supervises the communication sector, said that the authority is conducting preliminary preparations for the issuance of the third mobile service license and the second telephone landline service. These preparations include looking at the requirements for issuing the licenses and ways of integrating the latest technology, according to Al-Riyadh newspaper.
