JEDDAH, 3 November 2005 — The civil service department’s ambulance unit has transported more than 1,120 sick pilgrims from the Grand Mosque in Makkah to hospitals in the city during Ramadan, Al-Riyadh Arabic daily reported yesterday quoting Col. Abdullah Al-Barakati, assistant director of the department in Makkah.
