JEDDAH, 3 November 2005 — Police in Jeddah have arrested 47 pickpockets who committed thefts in various parts of the city posing as beggars, press reports said. Police have seized a large amount of money from the alleged criminals, who were picked up during raids in Al-Sabeel district.
