MAKKAH, 9 November 2005 — Money changing companies in Makkah made more than SR200 million in profit in Ramadan, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. The companies performed more than SR1 billion in currency exchange. Adel Al-Mutani, manager of Al-Mutani Money Exchange Company, said that the profits were SR200 million in Ramadan, which is considered the second best season after Haj.
