HOFUF, 13 November 2005 — The police arrested three Arab pickpockets in a bank in the eastern city of Hofuf. The arrests were made after many citizens and residents complained to police about losing their wallets and mobile phones in banks. The secret police organized a monitoring operation in which they discovered three non-Saudi Arabs dressed as Saudis. The men were arrested when they were in the bank in the act of picking pockets.
