TAIF, 14 November 2005 — An honest Saudi man returned SR3,000 of which he found in an ATM machine to the police, Al-Watan reported. The man was about to insert his card into the machine when he saw SR3,000 in the withdrawal slot. He took the money and the receipt and went to the nearest police station and reported what had happened. The man who had lost the money came to the police station to claim his money. He said he had suddenly received an important phone call and had rushed out of the bank without remembering to take his money.
