RIYADH, 16 November 2005 — The people of Riyadh will hold a grand reception for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Tuesday at Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Stadium in Malaz to mark his accession to the throne. They will also pledge their allegiance to the king and Crown Prince Sultan, the Saudi Press Agency reported yesterday. Meanwhile, King Abdullah issued a royal decree yesterday promoting Maj. Gen. Miteb ibn Jawal Al-Anazi to the rank of lieutenant general.
