SEOUL, 17 November 2005 — South Korea’s Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co. said yesterday it had won a 398.6 billion won ($385 million) petrochemical project order from Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem). A Daewoo spokesman said the project, involving the construction of a petrochemical plant, would last three years, but no start date had been set yet.
