PATNA, 18 November 2005 — The month-and-a-half-long campaign, one of the largest ever in Bihar’s electoral history, ended yesterday with electioneering ending in 41 of the state’s 243 assembly constituencies going to polls in the fourth and final phase of elections

on Nov. 19. The electoral fate of several heavyweights, including state NDA convener Nand Kishore Yadav, and a host of ministers in the erstwhile Rabri Devi government is to be decided in this phase in which 384 candidates are trying their luck.
