JEDDAH, 18 November 2005 — The Consulate General of Pakistan said yesterday that it appreciated the gesture of World Assembly of Muslim Youth and Jeddah-based Bagedo Holding Co. for sending relief goods including foodstuffs, tents, and blankets for the earthquake victims of Muzaffarabad and Balakot. “This will surely minimize the suffering caused by the recent earthquake,” in a statement from the consulate said, adding that it will facilitate dispatch of all essential items, especially tents, blankets, sleeping bags, and jackets that are urgently required by the victims due to the inclement weather.
