PARIS, 28 November 2005 — Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika was rushed to Paris on the weekend for undisclosed “medical reasons,” the French Foreign Ministry said yesterday.
A spokesman for the ministry declined to provide further details beyond confirming that the 68-year-old president was still in the French capital. Bouteflika’s office said that the president was suffering digestive problems.
