CAIRO, 29 November 2005 — The head of the Arab Women Investors Union, Huda Yesi, announced that Saudi and Egyptian investors as well as other Arab investors are starting several mega projects in the field of tourism and petrochemicals. Among the expected projects are a petrochemical project for an unspecified cost and a tourism project worth $200 million between the Awal Investment company and an Egyptian investor. The Egyptian-Gulf Group is also carrying out a project to develop the Nile Corniche at a cost of $600 million.
