AL-GURAYAT, 5 December 2005 — A fight between two women beggars broke out in front of a mosque, Al-Madinah reported. Because the place where the fight occurred is surrounded by shops and often crowded with people, the two women argued over who had the right to be there asking for money. The argument degenerated into a physical fight with people taking pictures and circulating them by Bluetooth. People in the area made many attempts to stop the fight but the person who finally succeeded was an old man who was able to calm the two women down. This kind of fight has recently happened a number of times in places where beggars compete for the privilege of asking for money in certain sites.
