RIYADH, 5 December 2005 — Prince Faisal ibn Salman, chairman of Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG), yesterday congratulated the companies listed on the Top 100 Saudi Companies published by Arab News and Al-Eqtisadiah today.
In a statement on the occasion, Prince Faisal said although the SRMG did organizational work to bring out the list of Top 100 companies, it was neutral in classifying the companies and their criteria. He said SRMG did not nominate itself seeking a place on the list in order to ensure the highest degree of objectivity and neutrality. He wished Saudi companies would continue their success and achievements in terms of services and revenues.
The SRMG, which has been publishing the list of Top 100 Saudi Companies for the past several years, intends to make the occasion an annual event, holding economic and financial seminars and workshops and a ceremony to honor the first 10 companies on the list, the company said.
