DAMMAM, 6 December 2005 — The Oudh Manch was recently launched at a colorful function in the Eastern Province.
“The objective of this platform was not limited to bringing together people from the culturally rich Uttar Pradesh. We have a greater vision. India is a deep ocean with a unthinkable cultural treasure. Each region has culture which is unique and it is the combination of all these that our great leaders described when they said, ‘Unity in diversity.’ Oudh is a small part of it. We believe that as Indians abroad, we need to not only to preserve our rich cultural heritage but also share it with our other fellow Indians. Oudh Manch is all about sharing,” opined one of the founder members of the Manch.
The event was marked by exciting games and quiz for the children and the women. Each participant was given a beautiful Oudh Manch certificate and there were also special awards given to winners in different categories.
