ALKHOBAR, 30 July 2006 — Neighbors here heard a man screaming from the apartment next door, the daily Okaz reported yesterday. Thinking the tenant was being assaulted they called the police. A cat burglar was probably never happier to have had the cops put on his tail. When the authorities arrived they found the thief lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds to his chest and head. Apparently the tenant discovered the criminal in the act and defended his turf with a kitchen knife. The thief was taken to the local emergency ward for treatment before, undoubtedly, being charged with breaking and entering.
