Weighing 2.7kg and as thin as 30.3mm, both notebooks offer over four hours of battery life and a choice in the latest processor technologies, including the new Intel Core Duo processor. Better battery life is now available with the optional HP Ultra-Capacity Battery — up to 10 additional hours. This new 12-cell Lithium Ion battery works across HP’s line of business notebooks for greater work productivity and flexibility while traveling. Users can even plug their Smart AC adapter directly into the battery to charge it separately. Also available is the HP Extended Life Battery, an eight-cell Lithium Ion battery that provides up to an additional five hours of battery life with the added convenience of being able to charge the battery while docked. The HP Extended Life Battery is an optimal solution for long meetings and locations where there are limited power outlets.
