ISLAMABAD, 15 May 2006 — Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Saleh Bin-Humaid will begin a five-day visit to Pakistan tomorrow, an official told Arab News.

Bin-Humaid, who will be leading a seven-member delegation, will be visiting the country at the invitation of Senate Chairman Mohammad Mian Soomro, the protocol officer of the Senate chairman said.

Waqar Yousaf said the delegation members were originally scheduled to visit Lahore today, but according to the revised program, they will come to Islamabad tomorrow.

Bin-Humaid, during his visit, will meet President Gen. Pervez Musharraf, National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain, Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbul, Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri and Minister for Religious Affairs Ejazul Haq.

The Senate chairman will host a dinner at his farm house in Islamabad in honor of Bin-Humaid tomorrow. The Saudi delegation will visit Faisal Mosque and Islamic University in Islamabad. Yousaf said the delegation members might also witness the proceedings of the upper house.
