RIYADH, 25 May 2006 — A team from the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will visit the Eastern Province on June 1-2 to provide consular services to Filipinos in the region, the mission said yesterday.
In a press statement, the embassy urged Filipino residents and workers in the province to proceed to the Al-Bustan Hotel in Alkhobar for any consular services they may require.
In addition to the issuance of or renewal of passports, the team will deal with authentication of documents, notarials, reports of birth, reports of marriage, requirements for RA 9048 (correction of clerical error in the birth certificate), and requirements for RA 9225 (re-acquisition/retention of Philippine citizenship).
The team will receive and process applications from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 1, and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on June 2.
Charge d’ Affaires Germinia Aguilar-Usudan will lead the team and she will be assisted by Attachés Rosario Malicse, Adelfa Lesslie R. Balili, Walter Villalobos, Roberto Cruz and Acas Bayabao Jr.
