1990: Thai foreign minister visited the Kingdom with offer to send medical team during the first Gulf War.
1995: Agreement on avoidance of double taxation on air service revenue initiated and signed in Jeddah.
1999 & 2000: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd graciously sponsored over 1,000 Thai pilgrims to perform Haj.
2005: $ 1 million in cash & kind given by Saudi Arabia for victims of Tsunami in Thailand, Air services agreement amended to add additional rights, first official visit to the Kingdom by the Federation of Thai Industry hosted by the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce & Industry, two-way trade passes record and touch $ 5 billion including $ 1 billion worth of imports from Thailand and total Saudi investment in Thailand exceeds $ 1 billion.
