When the “fires began working” the woman and daughter were terrified and fled. Bystanders chased after the tricksters. Unfortunately the youths were faster on foot than the do-gooders. Fireworks are traditional fixtures of the Ramadan season, as is the occasional crowd of dumb, explosives-wielding kids.
