JEDDAH, 19 February 2007 — A 2007 model Camry will be raffled off by Orbit on March 9 for subscribers of Pinoy Plus, the leading pay-TV Satellite Service in the Middle East has announced.

In a news release, Orbit’s International Production & Distribution Services’ (Orbit-IPDS) said the raffle draw will be held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh.

Abdul Mohsin Al-Joyan, Orbit-IPDS regional director for Saudi Arabia, said the raffle draw is the company’s way of rewarding Pinoy Plus’ subscribers.

“Orbit IPDS would like to express our sincerest thanks to our continuously growing Filipino family of subscribers by giving a chance to all loyal subscribers to be part of this raffle,” he said in the news release.

Al-Joyan said the Camry raffle promotion is the culmination of a six-month “Watch & Win” gift-giving campaign wherein lucky Orbit Pinoy Plus subscribers won prizes such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and Play Station-2 units.

He encouraged Orbit Pinoy Plus subscribers to maintain their subscription accounts active in order to be registered in the raffle.

The March 9 raffle will be held alongside the semifinals night of the Pinoy Pop Superstar World Challenge-Saudi Arabia being organized by the United OFW Organization, GMA Pinoy TV, Orbit, and Western Union Money Remittance.

The event is open to everyone.

Orbit’s Pinoy Plus package, which is targeted at Filipinos in the Middle East, offers programs from Musika, NBN Pinoy News, GMA Pinoy TV, Cartoon Network, Disney, MGM, Discovery Science, Animal Planet, Fashion TV, Hollywood Star!, Music Now, Trace, CNNI, Orbit ESPN and NBA TV.
