JEDDAH, 19 February 2007 — Emma Bonino, member of Italian Parliament and minister for international trade and European affairs, is arriving with a six-member trade delegation from Rome next week.
On Feb. 26, she will speak on “The legal structure must keep up‚” at the Jeddah Economic Forum to be held at the Hilton Hotel on Feb. 24-27. “This is the first time that Italy is participating in the JEF at the ministerial level,” a spokesman at the Italian Consulate General told Arab News yesterday.
The minister’s itinerary includes meetings with Saudi businesswomen and Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Governor Amr A. Al-Dabbagh. She will discuss investment prospects at the SAGIA meeting. Before departing on Feb. 27, she will visit the old city of Jeddah.
