RIYADH, 19 February 2007 - Kingdom Holding Company Chairman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal received British Ambassador Sherard Cowper-Coles at his office here yesterday. They discussed a number of local, regional and international economic and social issues. The main purpose of the ambassador's meeting was to bid the prince farewell as he has come to the end of his role here. Ambassador Cowper-Coles hoped for continuing his friendship with the prince after his departure. Prince Alwaleed reciprocated the same feeling.
Prince Alwaleed has a number of investments in the UK, which include Savoy hotel, Canary Warf and 100 percent ownership of the Four Seasons Hotel in London through entities controlled by the prince and his family.
