CAIRO, 19 March 2007 — An Egyptian production company will shortly start producing a film on the international terrorist organization, Al-Qaeda, the daily Al-Watan reported yesterday.

Adel Adib, chairman of the Cairo based “Good News For Film and Music” company said that his would be the first Arab film on the terror organization.

Adel said neither the US nor the Arabs could be wholly blamed for the unhappy developments in recent years. “I believe that both sides should shoulder the responsibility, it is not right to blame the Arabs alone or the US for the spread of terror.”

The story of the film hinges around an American journalist who sets out to make a film on the lives of Osama Bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zawahri, the top brasses of Al-Qaeda.

Good News also produced the award-winning movie “Emarat Yakubian” on the generally-sidestepped issues such as political corruption, police torture and sexual perversions.
