JEDDAH, 22 March 2007 — A random check by health and safety officials from the Jeddah municipality discovered that a branch of a well-known Jeddah restaurant was using bacteria-infected water. The infected water was found in the restaurant’s water tank. Health officials made the owner sign a document obliging him to regularly clean the water tank or face a fine.
