JEDDAH, 2 January 2007 — Saudi Arabia announced subsidies for imported ingredients of fodders, ranging between SR218 and SR488 per ton, the Saudi Press Agency reported yesterday quoting the Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd Balghaneim. The government will subsidize dried clover at the rate of SR446 per ton, soybeans powder SR460 per ton, date seeds SR488 per ton, wheat bran SR475 per ton, sunflower husk SR218 per ton, rice bran SR219 per ton and molasses SR276 per ton, the minister said. He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for approving the subsidies.
